Step 1: Download & Install Advanced PDF Manager

To get started, download Advanced PDF Manager on your Windows PC. Double click the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions to install it on your PC.

Step 2: Add the PDF File

From the home screen, select the Open Files option > browse to the location where the PDF you wish to protect is saved. Add the PDF to Advanced PDF Manager.

Step 3: Secure your PDF

Next, click the Protect option and type in the password you wish to use to secure your PDF with. Before clicking Protect to lock the PDF, be certain you remember the password or save it in a safe and secure place.

Note:We don’t force you to use any specific format for the password, but the longer and more complex the password, the better protected your PDF will be.

After adding the password, click on Save to apply changes. If you want to save it with a different name or at a different location, click on Save As > select the location > give an identifiable name and click Save.
